The new Velodrome will accommodate 14000 visitors upon completion, compared to the current 6000. Big Concerts, South Africa’s biggest live entertainment event organiser – with more than 1000 shows under its belt – has been appointed to manage the facility. The Velodrome is expected to obtain a 65% occupancy within its first year. With Big Concerts managing its events, the Velodrome will host world-class concerts for international stars that will be on par with events from the rest of the world.
